Discover the magic of maple sugaring and learn how maple syrup is made on this hands-on adventure at a local farm outside of Boston. Learn how sap is collected and transformed into maple syrup, while enjoying a scenic day trip from Boston.

What to Expect:

🚆🚐 Round-Trip Transportation from Boston – Sit back and enjoy a relaxing train ride, then hop on our van for direct transport to your maple sugaring adventure.

🍁 Maple Sugaring Experience – Learn about the maple sugaring process as expert guides walk you through how sap is collected from sugar maples and transformed into syrup. *Note- we cannot guarantee that sap will be actively boiling at the time of your visit

🐑 Explore the Farm – Enjoy free time for the chance to see farm animals, explore the farm, and visit the farm stand. You can purchase freshly made maple syrup and other local goodies!

🚐 Return Shuttle & Train to Boston – After a fun and educational day, our private shuttle will bring you back to the station for a smooth ride home.

Which Farm Will You Visit?

We partner with two family-run farms for our maple sugaring tours. Because these farms have limited capacity, we rotate between them to accommodate all our guests.

Once you’ve booked your tour, we’ll provide specific train times and trip details based on the farm you’ll be visiting.

Itinerary

11:00am

Take the 11:00am Framingham/Worcester line train from South Station to Natick Center

( the station you get off at varies based on the date you select, we will inform you of all this info when you book)

11:40am

Arrival at Natick Center train Station, meet the van at the designated pick up area

11:50pm

Arrival at the Farm

12:00-1:30pm

Enjoy your tour and free time at the farm

1:40pm

Board the bus back to Natick Center Station

2:00pm

Take the Framingham/Worcester line train from Natick Center to South Station

2:45pm

Arrival into South Station

I would highly recommend these tours! It was amazing just being able to sit back and relax on the train, not worrying about having to figure out what to do after getting to the station. Mike was extremely kind and helpful from the moment our train arrived to when it departed. Everything about the trip was truely seamless! The maple sugaring tour itself was also an incredibly unique and fun experience.

A wonderful outing! The van was brand new and the driver was very fun and diligent about getting us to and from. The guide was excellent we learned a lot about Maple Syrup and had a chance to experience the tapping and collection process and how the sap is made into syrup all finished up with a stop at the farm stand.

I thought the Maple sugaring tour through Keolis was very well organized from start to finish.Explicit details about train schedules and pick up information was easy to follow. contact information was provided if needed in the event you had to cancel, missed out train etc.
the tour of the farm itself was very good – tour guide himself did a great job. Casual and informative.
I would highly recommend a tour to anyone thinking of booking one.
I myself plan on booking the Meadery tour and interested in others.

A breezy maple sap to maple syrup tour!(happily it wasn’t breezy out ahead of a snow event!). As a huge maple syrup fan, it was interesting to hear about and see the process.

Special thanks to Keolis massAdventures! One for helping with some photos I was trying take. And the other for doubling back, recrossing the somewhat tricky parking lot, to confirm make sure that I wasn’t going back on the bus(I had other plans in the area)
