Our tour guide Deb was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We stopped at 5 different locations and sampled a variety of foods. This was an interesting and informative tour.
I had a great time in New Bedford. The whaling museum is wonderful, and the food on the tour was fantastic. We had a baked treat with Portuguese linguica from a bakery, a Cape Verdean brunch featuring cachupa (the Cape Verdean national dish), a Salvadoran pupusa, an acai bowl, followed by a sweet corn popsicle (there were other flavors, too, but I had never had a sweet corn popsicle and it was delicious).
