If you want to go kayaking outside Boston, MA, then join us for a delightful summer day at Lawrence Pond on Cape Cod! Pack a delicious picnic lunch and come along for an adventure-filled day. Located in Sandwich, Massachusetts, Lawrence Pond is a picturesque freshwater pond boasting over 2.5 miles of stunning shoreline and a rich diversity of aquatic life and vegetation.
Your day begins with a guided kayak trip, led by experienced instructors who will share fascinating insights about Cape Cod, the pond itself, and the various wildlife inhabiting its waters. Following the two-hour guided tour, you’ll have an additional two hours to freely explore and kayak at your own pace.
Feel free to take a break during this time to savor your packed picnic lunch while soaking in the beautiful views from the beach. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and enjoy the quiet and natural splendor of Lawrence Pond.
On the day of your kayak trip in Cape Cod, head to South Station and board the 8:20am Kingston Line Train. Enjoy the ride until the last stop, Kingston (approx. 50 minutes). Upon exiting the train, a black sprinter van will meet you in the parking lot, and your driver will be holding a Keolis massAdventures sign. From there you will be transported to Lawrence Pond to begin your kayaking adventure.
RETURNING:
Our bus will pick you up at 2:30pm and transport you back to the Kingston Train Station, you will board the 3:30pm train back to Boston.
We will also send these details along via email with more information on how to navigate getting to/from South Station upon booking.
*Note* your train tickets will be emailed to you 48 hours prior to departure. These tickets are valid all weekend and allows you to ride any commuter rail line train.
